autumn time

autumn really is the prettiest.

this was one autumn day and the colors were just to good so we snapped a few photos.

^^andrew's been really interested in animals lately and he was all about this horse. he was so amazed by it! it's such a neat thing to watch your children notice and experience things for the first time!^^

^^looooooved that horse. when we were taking pictures in the field the horse was running in front and he thought it was the best thing ever!^^

brandon's 29th birthday!!!

hubby turned 29!!!! 

we celebrated for a couple days and it was lovely! 

sunday the day before his birthday we celebrated by going to his mama's and having one of brandon's favorite dinner meals... ribs! they were sooo good and had birthday dessert! 

later in the evening my family came over and had cake and ice cream to celebrate his birthday! 

he is so loved by each family! 

monday was his real birthday and originally we weren't going to see him at all on his birthday since he had work and had to go straight to school but he was lucky enough to get the morning off on his birthday. he slept in and then woke up opened a few presents 

then i cooked him his favorite breakfast.. biscuits and gravy. 

andrew then went down for a nap and all brandon wanted to do was to relax. 

so brandon and i watched a movie! after that the fun had to end and he went to work and school. 

on tuesday we went to tepanyaki. that place is amazing. andrew came with us. where we go, he goes. 

we didn't know how he would act there and he was totally amazed the whole time. we sat by 2 older couples who looked the age of grandparents and instead of everyone watching the chef cook, everyone was watching andrew. the older couples kept saying "look andrew... watch andrew!" it was so sweet and the chef even cooked andrew his own bowl of rice! ha ha 

 all brandon wanted for his birthday was a new phone so he got that and he was a happy boy. 

brandon i hope you had the best birthday and can't believe next year you're 30!!! 

so old... haha love you.

weekend shindigs and random thoughts

another weekend has come and gone. 

booooooo. weekends are my favorite. 

this weekend hubby spent 95% of the time working on the bathroom downstairs. (we're putting in a bathroom with a shower and a finished washroom and all the works.)

 you have no idea how happy i'am about this! i get to decorated my own little washroom. yeppie!

this weekend i also got to try "waffle love" for the first time. 

andrews not to sure about it (hence his face in the picture ha!) 

annnnnnnnd i'm not to sure how i felt about it. 

i'm glad i tried it because i have always wanted too but really $7 dollars for one waffle? insane. 

ha ha probably never do that again. 

andrew is scooting like a crazy fool. one second he's there and next he's clear over there. 

i'm worried about my christmas tree and my book shelves. i like my stuff neat and not touched. 

 ha ha send help! 

andrew's birthday presents are taken care of already... couldn't pass up on the deals.

 (spoiled little fella) ha ha and his christmas presents are almost done. i can't even began to say how happy i am for christmas. i will be honest all the christmas parties and making sure none fall on the same date at the same time kinda stresses me out. ha sometimes i wanna hide from it. ha! but most important to me this season is spend lots and lots of time as us 3 as a little family celebrating. i know andrew won't remember anything but it's important to me and i'll remember it. 

annnnnnnnd my cousin had her baby. can't wait to hold a tiny newborn and then hold andrew and feel sad that my baby is growing up. ha seriously how do you mama's deal with it? it just hurts my heart. 

anyways this blog post was lame. so sorry if you wasted your time reading this.

halloween with a little fox!

halloween was lots more fun with a little one this year. 

little andrew was a fox! he was originally going to be a lion but before i bought it i saw the fox costume and i couldn't resist! he was so darn cute in it and he didn't even mind the costume. (win!)

this year we spent most of the whole day laying tile in the new bathroom downstairs. 

my brother came down and him and brandon worked hard all day and andrew had cousin time with karter! they were stinking cute together. 

later that day we got dressed and went to my mama's ward party with the siblings. 

it was a good halloween! 

^^next year i want to put more effort into hubby's and mine costume but this year we were hunters.

gotta hunt down that cute little fox!^^

halloween festivities!

hello hello! 

holiday season is here and i'm suuuuuper happy about it. 

you should ask brandon how much i already talk about christmas. (too much!) 

i'm just a little excited for halloween which is tomorrow and thanksgiving and of course christmas! 

we have done some pretty fun halloween festivities lately and here are some photos below! 

^^hooper does a halloween haunt and we've been going since we started dating and this year when we went it was PACKED. it has never had that many people. guess they did more advertising. 

both brandon and i said we can't wait to bring andrew when he actually knows whats going on!^^

 ^^i made these yummy pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting and it was so good!^^
