happy life

yesterday we got to go to the temple for a wedding ceremony. it was a wonderful time. i think one of my favorite things about temples is how much effort they put into landscape and making it so beyond beautiful there. they never give second best. last time we went to logan was for brandon brothers wedding and if you click HERE you can see what the temple grounds looked like in april and the picture below this is what they look like in july. stunning right? see what i mean! 

i wish i had them do my yard. 

i feel so blessed to be able to go to the temple and life lately has just been 

filled with blessings my heart might burst. 

i love this gospel and i love my hubby and i'm really thankful for blessings and of course ice cream.

farmers market!

over the weekend we went to the famers market! 

it was super fun and super hot. it was our first time going and it was a treat. we went early saturday and it still was packed and already blazing. i love when there is little fun things like this to do around where we live. makes my happy. we walked around and got a few things and tasted a bunch of yummy samples!

^^one of the things we got was these authentic dressings called roglianos. we sampled each of them and they were a-mazing! seriously can't wait to cook something with them.^^

floating down a canal!

while we were up in idaho for the 4th weekend we went and floated a canal! it was soooo fun and freezing. the water was super fast and the rapids were insane. this is why i love summer. you can do insanely fun things like this. we floated down it in life jackets and tubes. 

it was such a good time. summer i love you.

4th of july!

HELLO! 

fourth of july was wonderful this year. (like always) 

we spent the holiday by going up to idaho falls. i have gone to idaho falls ever since i was a little girl. they supposedly are raked number 2 best firework show in the united states! 

they do put on a good show ain't going to lie. 

it usually is around 30 minutes. most little firework shows last 10 minutes. 

we woke up that morning at our house and made fourth of july pancakes! you can see them HERE and thank you pinterest for always having such cute ideas. 

we drove up to I.F and hung out and had a BBQ at my aunts house and then before we headed to the falls we went and got an snow cone. AND MY GOODNESS. it was heaven. seriously i can't stop dreaming about it. i got a pomegranate and it was the best thing i have ever tasted. snow cones around here are icy and such this one was smooth. it was soooo good. 

ask husband i haven't stopped talking about it.
