Temple Square Lights!

Last weekend we went to salt lake to see the christmas lights at temple square and to celebrate our 6 months of marriage! We wanted to go to SLC before it got way to crowed and lets just say it still was packed. I'm pretty sure if you go the weekend before christmas or the weekend after thanksgiving it still will be packed but its so worth it. They do an excellent job at doing the christmas lights it blows my mind away every year. Its unbelievably pretty.
We went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. It was our first time going there and we gave it 5 stars! The food was soooo good. They brought it out quickly, super nice workers and best part was that it wasn't crazy expensive. Seriously go there if you need a dinner idea!
You can't really go to Salt Lake without stopping at City Creek. (or maybe that's just how my brain works ha ha) Husband is really good about going shopping with me. He doesn't complain about going and he is the sweetest when i'm looking for clothes and he nicely gives his thoughts on the article of clothing that i'm looking at. I picked a winner in the husband shopping category.
After dinner and shopping we made our way back to the lights. It really just blows your mind how good they're at doing them. Every single branch has a strand of lights and it goes from the top of the tree to the bottom. It was such a fun night seeing all the lights and the temple we got married in 6 months ago. I sure do love my husband and i'd say these have easily been the best 6 months of my life. Here is some photos from our night at temple square and city creek
When we were walking we spotted elf and santa and of course had to take a picture with them! The first picture santa asked us if this was our first date and of course we laughed and said no we're married he got all happy and pulled out that bell/mistletoe thing. ha ha. It was a good time. Thanks again husband for taking me on dates and celebrating 6 months and of course shopping.  xoxo
