Family Photos....FINALLY!

My side FINALLY got family photos taken. We haven't had them since I was in 7th grade....so a long time. My mother wanted the mountain leave look so we drove to the mountains and took them there. My family is soooo not proper and calm when it comes to things like this. My older brother brought a football to the photo-shoot so you can somewhat imagine what all the boys were doing when they didn't have to smile. I'm so blessed and lucky to have them as my family. I wouldn't know what to do without them. I remember when I was about 13 or so saying to my brother I wish I never picked you to be in the family. Oh how I was sooo wrong. I'm so glad we are a family. I love the crazy loudness that my family brings when we are all together. As we all grow older and get married i'm thankful that we are all best friends. It makes me heart extremely happy.
^^my parents, boy i'm so thankful for them.^^
^^cutest little family. you can read about them HERE.^^
^^isn't my two little brothers the cutest?!^^
^^i wasn't kidding when i said my family is crazzzy^^
I sure do love my family more than anything in the world.

It was really exciting but at the same time its like Christmas will be here and gone before we know it. Anywaaays, if you can go to article circle the weekend and get a pumpkin pie shake or Chevron and get pumpkin ice cream I promise you won't regret it. Frightmares!

Over the weekend we decided to go to frightmares at lagoon. I've never been during frightmares before and my goodness it was fun. This time of the year is really the greatest. So many fun activities you can do. I love that everyone loves holidays and its always a big deal.  Frightmares is really fun because its like Halloween everywhere. No joke people in costumes, pumpkins, ghosts, decorations, haunted houses, really anything halloweenish you name it and it was there.
^^they had these photo booth things everywhere^^
^^they made pioneer village so festive it really made me happy. Often times I wish I lived in the old days with a little town like this and wore huuuuge dresses and my hair was always curled and put up and I would have to carry a fan around. I mean it that just seems like soooo much fun.^^
^^most creepiest vampire right??!!^^
Such a handsome devil he is. SO glad we went and can't wait for Halloween in 10 days!

Yummiest Spiced Pumpkin Bread

Marriage really is the best thing ever. It really is I tell ya. I have become this whole new women. (women makes me sound old, how about lady). Anyways, I'm like the new betty crocker. Everyday I find a new recipe I want to try or mix two recipes together. It really is sooo fun. Before marriage I never cooked, it was always my mama and now its like i'm this new chef. Oh and crafts! I never really did those either and now its like i'm martha stewart. (or so I like to think) hahha. Husband really has been the best, he's so supportive of trying new recipes and he's totally okay with me doing crafts so he can watch some football.. of course. I sure do love that husband of mine.
So anyways this pumpkin bread it the BEST. It's so yummy and it leaves your house smelling divine! It really puts you in the fall mood.

Fall Family Photos

On Saturday my family finally took family photos. We haven't had "official ones" since I was in 7th grade..so long time. We wanted a fall/mountain feel to the photos so we went to the tip top of the mountains and oh my goodness. The leaves were so pretty. I love the bright red and yellows that fall has to offer. I had a good time between shoots to go exploring. All these photos were taken on my Iphone, so i'll post the real good ones once the photographer is done with them!
^^talk about beautiful^^
^^she's my favorite little human ever.^^
^^oh just smiling away^^
^^high heels and the mountains don't really mix well together^^
^^soooo many colors!!^^

^^showing my niece the leaves that I found^^
Those were my treasures I found in the mountains. I would highly recommend getting out of the house and going up in the mountains asap before the colors of the leaves change. It amazes me how beautiful this earth is and how blessed we are to have it.  Happy fall everyone!
